Health program continues to reach youngsters countywide

With childhood obesity rates climbing to nearly one in four youngsters and diabetes a growing concern, Wayne County continues its campaign to educate kids on the hazards of poor diet and the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

Undertake housing development projects in areas where there is not the indigenous capacity to plan and carry out residential development projects.

Development Corporation Summary

DCWC through Wayne County has instituted a housing initiative program to fund "Capacity Building" activities and "Pre-Development" costs associated with affordable housing development projects undertaken by Non-profit corporations eligible to conduct business In Wayne County and the State of Michigan.
